In compliance with Circular No. 6 Series 1866, from H. Q. Asst Commissioner, I have the honor to report the general condition of affairs for this division as follows.

Sanitary condition good, very little sickness of any character having been reported.

The Freedmen generally are in a comfortable condition, some little destitution has prevailed during the past winter, but none of an extreme character, labor being in demand in this division all classes find employment of some kind the land in this section being generally
