The voucher is undoubtedly intended for her, but she refuses to sign any other name than the one she has already affixed to the voucher.

Respectfully returned to the Act. Asst. Adj't Gen. with the following report. On or about the 1st day of Dec. 1867, Mr. Sloan, member of the Board of Registration for this County reported to the office that the colored boy, herein mentioned was an orphan that he had come to his hase [[house]] in a denuded and destitute condition. The boy was then admitted into the Orphan Asylum where he was furnished with rations and warm clothing. About one month after, a young man 15 or 16 years of age came and requested that the boy be delivered up to him. As the young man was unknown to me, I informed him that I could not comply with his
