Been and Will be some suffering among them unless some aid can be obtained from an outside source until their crops are matured.

As regards intemperance they are very sober in their habits and It is only on some public day that occasionally one or more of them can be seen under the influence of Liquor I am not aware of the existence of any temperance Society in this Division among the Colored People.
