in some instances the Freedmen who are
working on shares of crops, will not 
Be able to maintain themselves and families
throughout the coming winter.
                             The Freedmen
are behaving very well in every particular 
they are trying to fulfill the obligations 
that they enter into to the best of their 
ability, and are not prejudiced in any
way to the interest of the whites.
