The temperance movement is slowly advancing. The commencement of the Schools will aid it materially. There is little hope of gathering the adults into temperance societies, but hope for much from the teachers influence.

Schools will be opened throughout the Sub. Dist. so far as teachers can be supplied during the coming months.
