The freedmen are faithful in their Contracts & all obligation, and no Complaint has been made at this office. only in cases of freedmen that have always been known to be  worthless as laborers & never could be depended upon  we have a very few of that Class in this Division.

The freedmen are having school meetings to secure Teachers for their   school for the coming winter  they will support them or they will do all they can towards their support & will not call for assistance unless they are Compel'd to by unforeseen Circumstances
