In adherence to Circular No 6 series of Hd. Qrs. Asst. Comr. State of Va, I have the honor to report that there has been little disturbance in Bureau affairs in this Division during the past month. Everyone is busily engaged in harvesting & gathering of the Crops, which are generally promising, and now indicate a season of plenty and prosperity. The Freedmen as a whole, throughout this section, have labored better this year than any previous year since the war. Nevertheless there are a good many idlers.
