The Workmans debts came first in the bankrupts list but as a general thing the bankrupt has no more than the law allows. The Freedmens School in Danville is in full operation and I should judge was a Sucess The freed people feel the want of a School at this place very badly however everything looks very fair for the freedpeople for the coming year They have made good crops and I think will do very well Very Respectfully Your Obdt.
