States that Micrs. W. Fisher has informed him that he (Fisher) has an order for his Townsfield property and that "Over" & he are to pay him the rent for the 100 acres. instead of paying it to the agent of the Treas'y Dept. wishes to be informed in the matter.

Subsequently I turned over as Treasury agent to Capt Flagg of your Bureau. the said land & lease thereon. The farm I hear has been restored to Mr Fisher the owner by your Bureau
I forward this letter therefore for your action.

We propose to rent out the "Warren farm" to the "Friends" to meet all wants that cannot be met by scatteration. I cannot learn that there has been any application for it to be given up. and if it should be called for before the end of next year. I hope it will be granted only. as now. subject to or at the expiration of the lease.
