Respectfully returned to Bvt Col Max Woodhull Asst Adj't Gen'l with the remark that notwithstanding the Surgeon in Chief of Dist of Virginia was on the 19th inst called on to report promptly to these Head Quarters the establishment of new Hospitals, the records of this office have been searched in vain to discover the within named institution.
