States that the presented Col Kinsman a bill for services rendered to the Gov't and that the amount of it was for two months and twenty two days less eleven days and begs that the matter may receive attention &c. Applies for restoration of property situated in Norfolk City & County consisting of a farm known as "Lilliput" & several houses & lots Endorsed Norfolk Va Nov 27th 1865 Respectfully referred to Mr C.E. Johnston Asst Supt &c of Norfolk Co Va. The house on "Lilliput" is occupied by me as quarters. No destitute Freedmen live on the place and crops can be removed by Dec 15th 1865. I have also seen the title deeds of the property and Mr Tazewell Taylor sends herewith certificate that the property is owned in fee by applicant. I can see no reason why it should not be restored.
