good faith and should be paid as Capt Toby deceived and cheated them. The buildings were put up for negro quarters; are now used for Hospitals: not rented.
Mr Parr was employed and paid by me. The bills contracted by Capt Tobey amount to some $2000. none of which were ever reported at this office, but have been presented since his muster out.
