A not uncommon case is mentioned in these papers. I would respectfully ask for instructions, 
Shall freedmen be hired out against their will in cases like those herein described- I believe it is best for the  freedmen that it should be done. 
But will it not make so much trouble in "other quarters" as to render such action inexpedient.
