Respty returned - with the information that after diligent search Peter and Winston Conway, two of the within named parties have been found, both of whom have been working on the Danville R.R. but they say, they know no such person as M.E. Conway, have never been in Fredericksburg and do not know any body living there. NO trace has been found of the others. Mr. Mayo called at my office frequently and states that no such person as Dunmore Conway is living with him, and the man Fox alluded to in the within communication, denies any knowledge of the family.
