Remarks

The camp of destitute and disabled Freedmen is located on this tract of land the Govt. Barracks. huts. etcetera left by the M.G. Army making comfortable quarters, it is located about four (4) miles from the city.

The buildings were used as a Confed hospital during the war. they will accommodate about Six hundred (600) patients. there are but few Freedmen on this place, they are self supporting.
