Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen & A. Lands
Head Quarters Supt. 5th Dist. Va.,
Fort Monroe, Va., July 14, 1866.

Bvt. Brig. Gen. O. Brown,
A.A.A.G.
Richmond, Va.,

General:
I have the honor to forward, herewith enclosed, a corrected Report of Lands in this Dist. now held by the Bureau, for the month of June 1866.

This report has been delayed several days, in order that positive information might be obtained of each tract of land. Owing to the illness of the Asst. Supt. of Warwick Co., this work has been still further delayed, but will be completed as soon as possible.

I have caused the "Office record" of "Lands" to be carefully checked from September 1865, as instructed by your letter of the 14th June 1866. Such as were overlooked, have been dropped. The oversight was occasioned either from the order of restoration not having been given to the clerk in season to be embodied in the monthly report
