I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 28th enclosing my "Land Report" for July. In reply I would make the following statements.

The property of H.B. Grigsby of Norfolk Co. of Mrs Mary Mears, and Edward Chunn, of Accomac Co. was recd. from Treasy agents. The property of Mrs. Ann Taylor and Mrs. Peed of Norfolk Co. was reported by Capt. Flagg as in possession of the Bureau on Land Report for Sept, 1865.

The authority for restoring the property of H. B. Grigsby is an endorsement from Hd. Qrs. Asst. Comr. dated 30th July/66 on a letter from this office enclosing an order under the provisions of which the property was held, by the owner.

Mrs. Carter, owns the property No. 86. Main and No. 40 Cumberland st, No. 86 Main st. was
