This deed made this 15 day of November 1855, between Charles K. Mallory and Martha A. his wife of the 1st part, and William Anderson of the 2nd part all of the County of Elizabeth City Va. Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of seventeen hundred and fifty dollars to them in hand paid by said William Anderson the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, they the said Charles K. Mallory and Martha A. his wife do by these presents grand, bargain sell and convey unto the said William Anderson his heirs and assigns forever that certain brick house and lot of land in the town of Hampton in said County of Elizabeth City Virginia situate on Queen Street at its intersection with North Street bounded East and [[strikethrough]] West [[/strikethrough]] North by the lot of F. W. Jett, South by Queen Street and West by North Street. To have and to hold the same to heir the said William Anderson his heirs and assigns forever (the lot of land hereby conveyed being the same that was conveyed to said Charles K. Mallory by F. W. Jett and wife by deed duly recorded in the Clerks Office of the County aforesaid) and said Charles K. Mallory covenants that he will warrant generally the property hereby conveyed.
