This day Mrs. Frances Armistead personally appeared before me James E. Turner Notary Public for the County aforesaid and made Oath that she does not come within any of the exceptions of the Amnesty Proclamation of the President of the United States under date of the 29th of May 1865

This is to certify that the lot of land in Hampton Eliz'th City Co: Virginia situate on the corner of South Back Street & King Street is charged to Mrs Frances Armistead and her heirs forever upon the Commissioners books of this County. Given under my hand this 14th day of March 1866.
