Dear Sir
My property has not been libelled and I do not come under any of the fourteen exceptions of the Presidents proclamation of May 29th 1865, and as I have complied with all the other requirements of the law, as will fully appear by the papers filed herewith, I would most respectfully ask that my property situated on King street in the city of Portsmouth, and bounded on the East by the land of the estate of J.M. Binford decd and on the west by the land of J.M. King - be restored to me
