time acquire any property whatever in Slaves and make use of Slave labor; and that he first pay all [[?]] which may have accrued in any proceedings hitherto instituted against his person or property. 

And whom the further condition that the said M. Bayly shall notify the Secretary of State, in writing, that he has received and accepted his foregoing pardon.

I, William A Burnett clerk of the county court of Augusta County in the state of Virginia do hereby certify that the foregoing are true copies from the original oath & pardon of EW Bayly that said originals were presented to me by said Bayly in said office who requested me to make true and correct copies of the same.
