The petition of Ann Eliza Berry respectfully represents that she is the wife of John S. Berry, now residing in the town of Farmville Prince Edward County Virginia, where she has resided since the month of December Eighteen hundred and fifty nine, and her husband one year before that time. That at the time of leaving Norfolk, where your petitioner had lived from her infancy, to refit in the month of December 1859, your petitioner was the owner of two double brick tenements on Charlotte street in the City of Norfolk, built upon a lot of land conveyed to William H Addington as her trustee by deed dated the 4th day of March 1853, a copy of which the herewith files marked A, and which she asked may be considered in connection with this her petition. That as he fore stated, the husband of your petitioner, John S. Berry, left the city of Norfolk for the town of Farmville about the month of Dec. 1858, and where she joined him in the month of December following. That your petitioner at the time of leaving Norfolk
