This Indenture made this fourth day of June Eighteen hundred and sixty Between Louisa N Tazewell, John N Tazewell, Sarah Tazewell, Matthew P Waller and Mary his wife, and Ella Tazewell of the first part and Edmund Bradford and Anne E Bradford his wife of the second part the said Louisa N Tazewell,Ann E Bradford being the surviving children of Littleton Waller Tazewell deceased and his remaining devisees under his last will and Testament of record in this Court of the Corporation of the City of Norfolk-Witnesseth That wherein on this [[illegible]]day of May Eighteen Hundred and forty-nine the said Littleton Waller Tazewell gave to his daughter the said Ann E Bradford three separate tracts of land in the County of Princess Anne which were by deed of May 20th 1849 conveyed to him by the deed of the said John N. Tazewell the boundaries and description of which said tracts of land are fully described in said deed of record in the County Court of Princess Anne County and also gave the said Ann E Bradford at the same time the slaves conveyed by said deed to him viz Jack, Davy, Peter, Edmund, Robert, Henry, David, Moses, John, Casper, George, William, Cornelius, Israel, Daysey, Peggy, Sally, Emily,Susan, Ann, Hannah, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Lucy and an infant relation of Peggy and all the cattle, horses, sheep hogs poultry utensils &c on this said land and [[?]] The said Ann E Bradford in possession of this said land slaves and chattell Estate making an entry on his books of the said gift but never conveying  said property by deed although the said Edmund Bradford and Ann E his wife have continued in possession thereof ever since claiming the same under the said gift. and whereas by the last will and Testament of the said Littleton W Tazewell the said testator bequeaths and confirms unto each of his said six children all the property of any kind now in their possession respectively which he had previously given to any of them although not formerly conveyed to them and is now being deemed proper and expedient for the more certain and convenient verification of the gift herein mentioned and the better assurance of the title thereto that some formal declaration and evidence of the said gift should
