Virginia:  York County, to wit.
I, Bolivar Shield, Clerk of the County Court, in the County and State aforesaid, do hereby certify, that Robert H. Power - whose genuine signature is annexed to the foregoing certificate and before whom the foregoing affidavit was made, is and was at the time of signing the same a justice of the peace in and for the County and State aforesaid, duly commissioned and qualified, and to whose official acts as such, full faith and credit is, and ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereof. In testimony where of I have here to set my hand & the Seal of the said County this 4th day of December A.D. 1865.

I, Bolivar Shield, Clerk of the County Court, in the County and State aforesaid, do hereby certify, that Robert Cooke of the County aforesaid, is the owner of two tracts of Land situated in York County, known as "Thorpland" and the "Low Grounds" being contiguous and containing together Three hundred acres, and that he is Guardian of his two minor children who inherited from their mother Virginia A. Cooke wife of the Said Robert Cooke & who was Virginia A. Russell two tracts of Lands, namely "The Quarter" and "William Russell's," containing five hundred and Ten acres. All of which facts appear by the Records of the County of York. Given under my hand & the Seal of the said County of York this 4th day of December A.D. 1865,
