In the Circuit Court of the City of Richmond.
November 3rd 1864.

John Crawford, an orphan of William C. Crawford deceased & an infant over the age of fourteen years and a resident of a County the business of the Courts of which is interrupted by the presence of the public enemy, this day in open Court made choice of F. M. Jones as his guardian, and the said F. M. Jones being approved by the Court is appointed accordingly, and is also appointed guardian of Charles Crawford, another orphan of the said William C. Crawford deceased and an infant under the age of fourteen years and a resident of the same County; whereupon the said F. M. Jones with Henry F. Jones, his security, who justifies an oath as to his sufficiency, entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of Thirty Thousand Dollars, payable to the Commonwealth of Virginia and conditioned as the law directs.
