In the Circuit Court of the City of Richmond, November 24th 1866.

William Crafford, orphan of William C. Crafford deceased and an infant over the age of fourteen years and a resident of a County the business of the Courts of which is interrupted by the presence of the public enemy, having in open Court made choice of F. M. Jones as his guardian, and the said F. M. Jones, being approved by the Court, is appointed accordingly; whereupon the said F. M. Jones with Henry F. Jones, his security (acting by Benjamin Pollard, his attorney in fact, appointed for the purpose by letter of attorney under the hand and seal of the said Henry F. Jones, duly acknowledged before A.H. Drewry, a Justice of the peace for the County of Chesterfield, before whom he also justified an oath as to his sufficiency) entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of Fifteen Thousand Dollars, payable to the Commonwealth of Virginia and conditioned as the law directs.
