I R.R. Howison a Notary Public in and for the city aforesaid in the State of Virginia do hereby certify that Robert W. Drewry whose name is signed to the within hereto annexed bearing date the 17th day of November 1863 has acknowledged the same before me in my city aforesaid, and I do farther certify that Annie C. Drewry the wife of the said Robert W. Drewry whose name is likewise signed to the said writing personally appeared before me in my city aforesaid and being examined by me [[?]] and apart from her husband and having the writing aforesaid fully explained to her, she the said Annie C. Drewry acknowledged the said writing to be her act. and declared that she had willingly executed the same and does not wish to retract it. Given under my hand this 17th day of November 1863.
