I have the honor to appeal to you in behalf of an aged Uncle. After an absence of eight years, I arrived in Portsmouth on Thursday last, and found my Uncle, Mr Dunderdale almost a beggar, and in a suffering condition without money or home. His age and affliction renders him unable to work, he being seventy four years old. Some eighteen months ago, he went to Richmond with his wife, for the purpose of seeing their only child die, in two months after his wife also died, leaving him alone with two little Grandchildren, one six and the other four years.
