This Deed made this twentieth day of August, in the year one Thousand, eight hundred and sixty two between Richard Evans of the first part, & Conway Whittle of the City of Norfolk of the second part, and Jane M Evans, wife of the said Richard Evans of the third part.
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the love and affection which he bears to his said wife, he the said Richard Evans doth grant and convey unto the said Conway Whittle the following property to wit
A certain lot piece or parcel of land, with a house thereon, situated in the City of Norfolk on Bush Street, fronting forty three feet on said Bush Street, and turning back within parallel lines one hundred and eighty five feet, bounded as follows to wit On the North by a lot belonging to the estate of Arthur Taylor deceased. On the East by a lot which formerly belonged to the estate of Josiah Wills deceased. On the South by a lot belonging to Francis O Robertson. And on the West by Bush Street.
