I Jane M. Evans of the city of Norfolk State of Virginia do solemnly swear or affirm in presence of Almighty God that I will henceforth faithfully support protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Union of the States thereunder, and that I will in like manner abide by and faithfully support all laws and proclamations which have been made during the existing rebellion with reference to the emancipation of slaves. SO HELP ME GOD.

Transcription Notes:
The handwriting after "city of" is pretty illegible (at least to me), but I have concluded that it says Norfolk because that is the city listed in the clerk's office address and because the location listed on the next page (which is a document in the same format, from a man who also has the surname Evans) is Norfolk. Also, if you can figure out what is written below the first signature, the last word is also on the next page, so if you could update it there, as well, it would be really helpful.
