In the amended petition of William Gibbs he would respectfully state that his land refered to in his original petition is bounded as follows on the North by the lands of H H Wynne. East by the lands of S G Cooke & Dr R H Power. South by the lands of Jno[?] Gibbs and West by the Public roads leading from Yorktown to Warwick Courthouse. That he is not included in any of the excepted classes of the Amnesty proclamation of his Excellency Andrew Johnson of May 29th 1865. That he has subscribed the oath prescribed in said proclamation that he is not worth twenty thousand dollars & claims to be and is a loyal citizen of the U States and he makes this a part of his original petition

Personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace for the County & State aforesaid and made oath that the facts set forth in the above petitions are true. Given under my hand this 26th day of December AD 1865
