Sir;

I hereby respectfully make application for the restoration to me of my two pieces of property now under charge of your bureau, & described & situate as follows, viz :

First - A lot of land on the east side of Talbot Street in the city of Norfolk Va, adjoining on the south the land on which the Gun House of the Norfolk Artillery Blues now stands; said lot being composed of the two parcels of land described in the accompanying certificate of Hy M. Bowden, Clerk of the Court of Norfolk City, & having on it a two story brick stable & a two story brick dwelling.

Second - That piece or parcel of land at Ocean View in Norfolk County Va known & described on the plot of Ocean View as Lot Number Fifty three (Lot No 53) on Virginia Avenue, where it is intersected by Hampton Street, & is the lot referred to in the accompanying certificate of Leroy G. Edwards, Clerk of the Court of Norfolk County.
