Col O. Brown

My Dear Sir

In writing a letter of introduction to you in behalf of my friend Chas Harris Esq of the City I fell into the goods of supposing that he was claiming rent for his bakery on Hill Street instead of the property on Talbot St. Mr Harris informs me that $35.00 per month is all he claims for the use of his property on Talbot Street. I am satisfied he can realise no more than double that amount for it now. I hope you will find time, if possible, to examin [[strikethrough]] into [[/strikethrough]] his claim personally

I Am very Truly Yr. friend
