0062 Post Office Norfolk, Va., Nov. 4th 1865. Col O. Brown Dear Sir My friend Chas Harris, Esq, of this City, has filed a claim for rent due him for the use of his Bakery by the Government. In my opinion his claim is just, and I have no doubt when you come to examine the matter yourself you will arrive at the same conclusion_ Mr Harris, I presume, will see you in person and I desire to introduce him to you as one of our most prominent citizens & whose Education, Social position, character and wealth entitle him to the consideration of gentlemen everywhere I Am Very Truly Yr friend W.
