commenced throwing their goods out of the house on the ground & putting hers in & took possession of the house & garden. The colored people informed me of what had been done  I went there & found the house occupied by Mrs Haynes  I informed her that the farm & buildings were rented to the colored people for that year & if she remained there she would have to make a bargain with the colored people for the rent of said house that she had taken from them_ She stated to me that she intended to stay there & would not pay any rent to anyone. I left her & did not see her again for two weeks or more_ The colored people again complained to one of the abuses they recieved from her_ I went there again and told her if I heard any more trouble from her with the colored people I should report the case to Capt Wilder and he no doubt would order her removed  She told me again that she would not move nor pay any rent as it was her property &c. I left her and the next time I heard from there she had moved away & the colored people had
