0162 Hinton John L. Norfolk Va Feb 24 /66 Applies for restoration of property in Princess Anne Co. Bureau R. F. & A. L. Office Asst Supt P. Anne Co. March 21, 1866 Respectfully forwarded to Capt. A. S. Flagg, AQM Supt 1st Dist Va. The Hinton farm house is occupied by Freedmen, those able to work are employed by Banks & Burgess to whom land on the farm is rented, for a share of the crop, under an agreement which expires December 31st 1866. Bureau RF & AL at Richmond with the recommendation that the property of Mr. Hinton be restored to him. The freedmen can be provided for at other places. A. S.
