0191 Affidavit No. 2 State of Virginia, City of Portsmouth: This day personally appeared before me, a Notary Public for the said city, Col. D. J. Godwin and made oath that he has read the Petition of Sallie W. Hodges & the certificate of Capt Nat Low jr A.Q.M. at Norfolk annexed thereto, and that he knows that the house & lot in the said petition mentioned as on the South west corner of the intersection of Court & Queen Streets is the same that is mentioned in the said Certificate of Capt Nat Low. and that the said house & lot was occupied by the staff officers of Genl. Graham. Given under my hand this 15th day of Sept. 1865. Jas F. Crocker Notary Public.
