I hereby certify that Frederick M. Holstead is the owner in fee simple of a tract of land in the County of Norfolk containing about one hundred acres, and lying within three miles of Norfolk City, which he inherited from his father Joshua M. Holstead, and which is the same he is now making application to the Government to be released from their possession.  Given under my hands at the City of Norfolk this 7th day of October 1865.
