This deed, made the 30th day of July in the year 1869 between Elizabeth. R Curtis and Sarah L Miner of the first part and Wm C. Miner of the second part, witnesseth that in consideration of mutual love and affection and the further sum of one hundred dollars, the said Elizabeth R. Curtis and Sarah. L. Miner do grant unto the said Wm C. Miner the following property to wit: One fourth part of that tract of land lying in that part of Warwick Co called Mulberry Island and known as Liberty Hall supposed to contain about eight hundred acres and bound as follows to wit: On the north by the land of B. W. & G. K. Green and of the estate of Carter Crafford decd, On the east by Warwick river. On the south by the lands of H. H. Curtis Jr & the estate of Wm S. Jones decd  On the west by the lands of the estates of Wm S Jones & Carter Crafford  it being the same land on which H Harwood Senr decd recently resided who died seized & possessed of said land, which descended from said H. Harwood Senr to Elizabeth R. Curtis and Sarah L. Miner and also the following slaves, six in number to wit: Billy Williams, Phill, Rachell & child Hannah and Lizzie and the said parties of the first part hereby covenant that they will warrant generally the property hereby conveyed;
