Virginia: City of Portsmouth to wit:

I Dempsey Nash Clerk of the Court of Hustings for the City of Portsmouth, State of Virginia do certify that by the records of said Court a certain lot piece or parcel of land situate in that part of Portsmouth called Gosport or Newtown, Beginning on Sixth Street thirty feet three inches from the SOW intersection of Sixth and Lincoln Streets running Southwestardly on Sixth Street ninety-feet nine inches, thence Westwardly ninety feet parallel with Lincoln Street, then a Northwardly ninety feet nine inches parallel Sixth Street thence Eastwardly ninety feet to the beginning is the property of R. J. Neely and William Neely.

In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the Seal of the said Court this 16th day of October 1865 in the 90th year of the Commonwealth
