This Indenture made this 19th day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty Between Charles Brennaman and Catherine his wife of the other part and John Owens of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Brennaman and Catherine his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said John Owens at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt thereof is hereby acknowledged. Have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said John Owens his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot piece or parcel of land with its appurtenances situate lying and being in that part of Portsmouth called Gosport and bounded as follows to wit
Beginning at the intersection of Fourth and Lincoln Streets from thence running northward along Fourth street sixty feet Thence eastwardly forty four feet thence southwardly sixty feet to Lincoln Street thence westwardly and along Lincoln Street forty four feet to the beginning, being part of the lot of land conveyed by Thomas Robinson and Mary Jane his wife To said Charles Brennaman by deed dated 12th March 1845 and duly recorded. To have and To hold the said lot piece or parcel of land with its appurtenances unto him the said John Owens his heirs and assigns. To and for the only proper use and behoof of him the said John Owens his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Chas Brennaman and Catherine his wife for Themselves their heirs Executors and administrators hereby covenant and agree To and with the said John Owens his heirs and assigns that they the said Charles Brennaman and Catherine his wife and their heirs executors and administrators the said lot piece or parcel of land with its
