Northampton County to wit,
Personally appeared before me a justice of the peace for the County of Northampton County in the State of Virginia, Thos C. Parramore whose name is subscribed to the foregoing affidavit, who, being duly sworn according to law says that he will observe faithfully the conditions of the aforesaid obligation,
Given under my hand this 4th day of December 1865.

I, Louis P. Rogers, Deputy Clerk of the County Court in and for Said County, in the State aforesaid, being a Court of Record, do hereby certify that Luther Nottingham, before whom the foregoing affidavits were made, was at the time of Subscribing his name thereto, and still is a Justice of the Peace, in and for Said County, duly elected, commissioned and qualified, and by law authorized to administer oaths for general purposes, and that full faith and credit are due to all his official acts as such as well in Courts of Justice as thereout, and that his Signatures thereto are genuine.

In testimony whereof, I hereto set my hand and annex the seal of the said Court, this fifth day of December, Anno Domini, Eighteen hundred and Sixty five.
