Col I beg leave to submit to your consideration the following statement of facts. I have just returned to my home in the County of Warwick, which I left when the Federal Army occupied The Peninsula, in the possession of my son in law; I am upwards of sixty years of age and have never borne arms against the United States. There are no Freedmen on my farm. The said farm is situated in the County of Warwick and contains two hundred and seventy three acres. I most respectfully request the restoration of said farm in accordance with and order from Bureau Head Quarters restoring all property not confiscated or sold to its rightful owners.
