late war and at the time of its inauguration, and was the sole custodian of the records of said Court: and that the Land Records of said Court, shewed John Patrick to be entitled to Two Hundred and Seventy Three acres of land in said County: and that the said John Patrick has never sold or transferred the same: Given under my hand this 14th day of November AD 1865.

This day John Patrick whose name is signed to the application hereto annexed, personally appeared before me, and made oath, that he is the owner of a tract of land in the County of Warwick, containing Two Hundred & seventy three acres, that he has take the Amnesty oath prescribed in The Precedents Proclamation of May 29th 1865, and that he is not included in any of the classes therein excepted from the benefits of said oath. 
Given under my hand this 14th day of Novr. 1865.
