I came here on 20th Feb 1864 & immediately took the oath.

My case has been before the military commission last February wherein I was fully cleared of all participation in the rebellion by Col Howard, & Lt. Green acting as special advocate for the Govt a favorable report of which was sent to Washing & an order sent here to release my property, & which now some informality  has left in your hands
