In the Clerks office of the Court of Hustings for the city of Portsmouth the 4th day of January 1859.
This Deed was acknowledged by Thomas Carr and Marietta his wife, she having personally appeared in said office and being examined privily and apart from her said husband and having the deed above fully explained to her, she the said Marietta Carr acknowledged the said writing to be her act and declared that she had willingly executed the same and does not wish to retract it and thereupon the said Deed is admitted to record
