I Francis R. Benson of the City of Portsmouth in the State of Virginia do hereby certify that I was intimately acquainted with John Richardson deceased referred to in the within petition, and I do further solemnly swear that the said John Richardson left surviving him but two children, the within mentioned petitioner John H Richardson and his infant or Minor sister Mary V. Richardson. Given under my hand this 23rd September in the year 1865
