Northwardly on Ten Church Street fifty six feet seven inches or thereabout, thence Eastwardly parallel with Falkland Street eighty four feet more or less, thence Southwardly parallel with Ten Church Street fifty six feet seven inches or thereabout, thence Westwardly to the beginning To have and to hold the said one half being the northern part of said described lots, piece or parcel of land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Mirabeau A Salusbury his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Peter Canssee and Antoinett his wife do hereby for themselves and their heirs forever warrant and defend the said one half being the northern part of said described lot piece or parcel of land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Mirabeau A Salusbury his heirs and asigns against the claims of themselves and of their heirs and of all persons whomever. We Wm D. Delany and Wm G. Camp Justices of the peace in and for the city aforesaid in the State of Virginia do hereby certify that Antoniett Cansse the wife of Peter Cansse parties to the annexed deed dated the 20th day of May 1848 personally appeared before us in our City aforesaid and being examined by us privily and apart from her husband and having the deed aforesaid fully explained to her, she the said Antoniett Cansse acknowledged
