Mr Kirby of Treasy Dept. informs me my papers relating to Norfolk oil works were turned over to Genl Howard & forwarded to you  may I beg that you will return them to this Office Mr Johnson with your favorable order so I may in pursuance of my interests I have lost greatly by delay & considerable of the property stolen I desire to collect all thats possible after I obtain yr order
