Petersburg Va Augt 28th 1865.
This day personally appeared before me James W Douman a Notary Public for the city of Petersburg, duty of appointed, and qualified according to law Gerald B. Branch, who made oath that he was well acquainted to with Mrs Mary Ann Schoolfield, and that she resided in the City of Petersburg being from from January 1856 until her death in November 1862 and that she left the following children Mary Ann wife of W. W. Sharp, Harman & wife of John When ln Wyche, Rebecca P. wife of D. G. Potts. Lewis M. Gill, Hull. N, Wal C. and W. B. Schoolfield, and I further swear that none of the frontiers above named are included in the exceptions contained in President Lincoln's amnesty proclamation.

And I further certify that the said E. B. Branch is a man of respectability and worthy of 
Prudence.
